Partnering: Deepening our Practice from Head to Heart - Edmonton - Alberta Transportation, Alberta Roadbuilders and Heavy Construction Association, Consulting Engineers of Alberta

April 17, 2018
  1. Details
  2. Fees

Last year, as a tri-party industry, we re-launched Partnering with two day-long workshops titled “Let’s Get Real About Partnering: Making it Stick”. While the 2017 construction season saw considerably more collaborative “Blue” projects, we’re far from done. Many more projects need to be consistently Blue, and our collaboration needs to deepen. Intellectually understanding Partnering is the easy part, and it’s not sufficient. For it to be really valuable, Partnering needs to live in our hearts. It needs to reliably come alive in our behaviours, in our relationships and ways of working together, especially under pressure. In this day-long session, we will briefly review fundamentals and pick up where we left off last year, diving deeper into the “how” of Partnering using practice sessions, simulations and sharing exercises. If you attended last year, you will find rich new territory this year, with opportunities to upgrade your skills and mindset. If you’re new to Partnering, we’ve got you covered – the day will set you up to start solidly, and to catch up!

Desired Outcomes:

  1. Deeper awareness, engagement, inspiration.
  2. To realize a breakthrough in the number of Blue projects.
  3. Sharpen our commitment to individual and collective ongoing practices, including course-correcting when we get off track.
