Scheffer Andrew Ltd. is a medium size engineering and planning consulting firm with a focus on providing land development, municipal, and transportation engineering services.

Permanent-Full time Position

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Managing and Designing engineering aspects of rural and urban roadway and highway projects.
• Preparing traffic impact assessments for residential, commercial and industrial developments.
• Preparing transportation master plans for entire communities and for neighborhoods within them.
• Planning, organizing, and directing resources to best serve the needs of our clients.
• Delivering transportation projects within established timeframes and budgets.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A post-graduate degree in Transportation Engineering with 10 years of experience in transportation engineering. Relevant experience within Alberta and knowledge of Alberta Transportation guidelines and specifications is considered an asset.
• A P.Eng. designation or the ability to immediately register with APEGA.
• Experience in leading and advising design teams, clients and approval agencies.
• Has the experience to work independently.
• Proven business development and proposal writing skills.
• Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
