The CEA & YPG Student Mixer & Tradeshow is a great way for students to learn about what consulting engineering is and how they can prepare themselves for careers in the industry. This event showcases our young professionals and their experience in consulting and provides students with the opportunity to make valuable connections to potential mentors. We will have young professionals providing mini-presentations on their careers.
For the past 10 years, CEA’s Edmonton Young Professionals Group (YPG) have hosted a mixer with the University of Alberta engineering students to educate them about the industry and consulting engineering as a career opportunity. We target undergraduate and graduate students who are studying in the following areas: Geotechnical, Water Resources, Environmental, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, Process, Structural & Building Science, Transportation and Urban Planning.
We encourage all CEA member firms to attend and in particular the Young Professionals and Senior Reps as well.
There will be food and drinks and plenty of time for networking with the students.
Booth Details:
CEA Member Booth Price:
$150.00 + gst. Participating firms will get a booth and two free delegate passes.
Non Member Booth Price:
$200.00 + gst. Participating firms will get a booth and two free delegate passes.

In order to receive a partial refund, a request for cancellation must be received by email at finance@cea.ca prior to the registration deadline. No refunds will be provided after the refund cut-off date of the event. To avoid disappointment, early registration for activities is encouraged as space may be limited.
Refunds will be subject to a $25.00 administrative fee.
Substitutions are welcome. Please contact the CEA office with any changes: finance@cea.ca or 780-421-1852.
CEA has the right to cancel an activity due to low attendance, a full refund will then be offered.
