Join the Calgary CEA Young Professionals’ Group for an exciting Technical Tour at the Calgary Cancer Centre. The CCC is being constructed at the existing Foothills Medical Centre. This world class facility began construction in 2017 and is scheduled to open in 2023.  With a budget of $1.4 billion, the project is one of the largest construction projects underway in Alberta. Once constructed the facility will be more than one million square feet (59 NHL Rinks). It will host a 12-room radiation therapy department, with all rooms featuring 1.8m thick walls, it will also provide over 100 patient rooms, 160 impatient unit beds, over 100 chemotherapy chairs, research laboratories, 1650 parking stalls and additional space for clinical trials. Once constructed the CCC will achieve no less than LEED Silver Certification.  

This event will feature a short presentation at the beginning and tour of the site. Once registration is confirmed, parking instructions will be forwarded to your email.

Cancellation Policy

In order to receive a partial refund, a request for cancellation must be received by email at finance@cea.ca prior to the registration deadline. No refunds will be provided after the refund cut-off date of the event. To avoid disappointment, early registration for activities is encouraged as space may be limited.

Refunds will be subject to a $25.00 administrative fee.

Substitutions are welcome. Please contact the CEA office with any changes: finance@cea.ca or 780-421-1852.

CEA has the right to cancel an activity due to low attendance, a full refund will then be offered.
