David Nagy, P.Eng., MBA, is the Manager of the Bridge Group with Associated Engineering Alberta Ltd. David’s enthusiasm and passion for engineering consulting is reinforced by the project work he continues to deliver throughout the province. David completed his undergraduate studies in Civil Engineering at McGill University and later completed his MBA at the Haskayne School of Business, University of Calgary. David believes great opportunities are created with trusting partnerships whether it is at an industry, community or project level and all partners must be able to see value in the collaboration. Lastly, David was the recipient of the 2014 Harold L. Morrison Rising Young Professional Award and the 2015 Allen D. Williams Scholarship Award; both awards recognized David’s dedication and commitment to the profession.




Grant Hallam P. Eng., is Vice President, Prairies Region, with McElhanney Consulting Services Ltd., and a member of the Board of Directors of McElhanney Services Ltd. Originally from South Africa, Grant graduated with a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Cape Town in 1987, and completed his M.Sc degree at the same university in 1990. Grant has worked in the Consulting Engineering industry for the majority of his career, initially in South Africa, before moving to Canada in 1999. His experience includes municipal, transportation, and land development engineering. He has been managing consulting engineering branch offices for the past 14 years, including the McElhanney Calgary office since 2010.



Ken Kozakewich, P.Eng., MBA, is Vice President of Amec Foster Wheeler’s Edmonton and northern offices. He is responsible for management of the geotechnical, infrastructure, materials and environmental business units. He is also the company’s Western Canada Transportation Sector lead and has been involved in projects both in Canada and several international locations. Ken graduated with a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan and has 37 years of experience in Alberta. He has been involved in a number of major projects for the public sector in the planning, design and construction of Alberta’s strategic transportation corridors and for the private sector in major project design and development for the oil sands industry. 


Immediate Past President

Kelly Yuzdepski, P.Eng., is a Partner and Vice President, Regional in Western Canada for CIMA+. His work experience spans 28 years and includes planning, design, administration, management, and construction of a variety of transportation and municipal infrastructure projects, including freeways, expressways, highways, urban arterial roadways, bridges and airports across the three western provinces. Recently, he has focused the past several years on alternative delivery procurement, including design-build-finance-operate and design-build projects. Kelly has been actively involved with industry associations including being a member of the Transportation Committee for Consulting Engineers of Alberta and Saskatchewan and the role of President for Consulting Engineers of Saskatchewan and President for the Centre for Transportation Engineering & Planning (C-TEP).
